The history of photography has been greatly influenced by photographers using Leica cameras. Photography with the rangefinder Leica always puts human skills foremost: the human capacity of feeling and artistic expression. The Leica M6 also fascinates because of its exceptional quality, attention to detail and its concentration on essentials. The M6 is a mechanical camera, the battery being necessary only to operate its internal light meter and flash sync. Technical gadgetry is purposely limited to those features that truly contribute towards creating a better picture. With the M6, it is always the photographer who controls the medium and not vice versa.

The new M6 TTL features Through-The-Lens flash metering capability and more convenient shutter-speed adjustment. This is the black finish .72x viewfinder model with bright-line frames for 28, 35, 50, 75, 90 and 135mm lenses.
