Fully-automatic, ultra-compact Advanced Photo System camera is the world's smallest and lightest
APS camera with autofocus. The ELPH LT offers effortless film loading and a choice of three picture
formats: Classic (2:3 format), Wide Angle (9:16 format) and Panoramic (1:3 format) The ELPH Jr. also
features fully automatic focusing, auto exposure, a self timer and auto advance and rewind functions,
taking the guesswork out of every shot.
High-quality Canon 23mm f/4.8 lens features a triplet lens design of 3 lenses in 3 groups for high
picture quality and compactness (equivalent to 29mm on 35mm-format cameras). High refraction
optical glass reduces aberrations and also improves image quality.
Magnetic Information Exchange (IX) data recording automatically records up to nine types of picture
data including the date, title, print size, cartridge loading direction, flash use, subject brightness,
magnification, artificial light source and flash exposure on every shot. Together, these elements allow
film processing equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality photofinishing results.
Automatic Date mode records the date on the film magnetically, and prints it on both the front and
back, or on the back only of every picture (depending on the capability of the photofinishing laboratory).
Choose from 5 date formats.
Convenient titling function provides the ability to print one of five titles in six languages on the back of
every picture. Choose from I Love You, Thank You, Season's Greetings, Happy Birthday and
Congratulations.
Built-in flash with Red-eye Reduction enables you to take crisp, clear pictures in any lighting condition.
Five flash modes include Auto with Red-eye Reduction, Auto without Red-eye Reduction, Flash OFF,
Flash ON and Slow Synchro with Red-eye Reduction. When taking flash pictures with Red-eye
Reduction, a mini lamp illuminates the subject an instant before the flash fires to reduce pupil size,
thereby minimizing red-eye effects.
