��	Progressive Scan CCD Image sensor that delivers a significant improvement in performance and image Quality, every light gathering pixel on the CCD is used to produce a full frame Video image 60 times per second. In contrast, the conventional interlace CCD produces only half a full frame, known as a field, in the same time the Progressive Scan CCD provides a serious advantage of impeccable clarity of fast moving subjects.
��	RGB Primary Color Filter In addition to achieving higher resolution, the Progressive Scan CCD integrates an RGB Primary Color Filter which separates light passing through the lens into individual red, green and blue color components, similar to professional camcorders. As a result, the camcorder achieves more accurate color reproduction with finer gradations than models using a conventional complementary color filter. The difference is especially noticeable, for instance, in skin tones and scenes with a dominant color such as sunsets, a ski slope or a forest.
��	3 Shooting Modes The Elura20 MC offers you three shooting modes to satisfy all your picture taking needs. 1) Video Mode Delivers smooth, full-motion video, for playback on your TV. You can also transfer the video onto your computer to view, edit, post on the internet, or send to friends. The Progressive Scan CCD and RGB Primary Color Filter make sure that the color, light, and motion of the scene are recorded with extraordinary color rendition and true-to-life color. 2) Digital Photo Mode This mode functions as a digital still camera, the camcorder is like two cameras in one. By switching to Photo Mode. Just press the photo button to capture more than 700 still pictures on a single videocassette (in SP mode). This feature allows you to store and transfer still images to a PC (with a PCMCIA adapter). Copy still images from a videocassette to a MultiMedia Card, and vice versa. You can produce effects not possible with just a cassette using one of the MultiMedia Card's three types of Card Mix Effects. Choose one of the sample images provided on the supplied 8MB MultiMedia Card such as a picture frame or crashing waves and combine it with the currently recording image.

��	Extended Recording Function The Extended Recording of the ELURA20MC camcorder offers two additional long play SP modes, 2x and 3x modes. When image data is recorded to a tape in the 2x and 3x SP modes, it is compressed twice as much as in SP modes. In the 3x SP mode, you can record for up to 4 hours on an 80 minute cassette.
